Hey presto... Thanks, whoever it was. It seems that the unslung kernel does not support 256 byte inode sizes. (see error above, EXT2-fs: unsupported inode size: 256) I formatted my ext3 partition using gparted in ubuntu and I have just added a Linksys NSLU2 with a USB hard drive.
Good work! Plug the USB-HDD to the NSLU2 again3. I have every step along my way documented, and so will beable to nail this down in the wiki (for my particular device) whenall is working. Is there a list anywhere of disk that are compatible with unslinging?
The NSLU2 appears to be operating fine - the status LED flashaes and goes green, the Ethernet LED goes green, as do the USB LEDs on startup.
