The time now is 01:35 AM. So, I can use my usb thumb drive and hard drives connected to usb but there is some delay until it detects. Now, I'm not sure if the CompUSA brand card used the NEC chipset, but this one definitely does (in the Hardware manager, it lists as the NEC PCI to USB Open It's kind of a pain to have to plug one more item in each time I relocate with the laptop.
