I have no clue what to do. a black screen with the words "Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM: No Emulation" written on it, and a flashing dash sign ...All good: It is trying to ... I did, rebooted... A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

Please Guys, what should I do?????? If you have the xp disk, you can boot from the disk and do a repair, this will preserve your files and programs, hopefully.
