Recently people are running into strange issues where they are unable to open attachments in Outlook on their computers. As I was troubleshooting myself on Monday & Tuesday, I saw that button selected, but didn't think anything about it as I knew Google is on my system, but I don't In Outlook, create a message. If the file is infected with a virus, trojan, or other malware, many e-mail servers will automatically reject it to prevent their users from becoming infected.
On the Message tab, in the Include group, click Attach File. I don't remember all the details now, but the problem, just like in OP, was with .pdf attachments not showing from one sender. I would never have guessed Google either. You are a true GURU!!!
This is the easiest way to forward multiple items or messages. I made the "-ShowInlineAttachments:$true" change yesterday but just had a report from a user that didn't get a jpeg attachment. Today, most e-mail providers allow attachments in e-mails, but you may want to verify with your e-mail provider that attachments are allowed with their e-mail service. I am able to open and run attachments that are .wmv and .pps.
