I could not even transfer the files from the attached HDD drive to the Public folder or to a USB flash drive on the attached PC. Please refer to our CNET Forums policies for details. Is it the generic Microsoft user name and pw? Just remember that you can't upgrade to Win7 from XP, as it will require a Clean install which will wipe all information from the laptop.
